XpressLegal is inviting applications for the position of Sr. Associate / Associate Partner in its Mortgage & Title Legal Due Diligence practice. The role involves quality and legal review, team management, client management, timely delivery of reports, and supporting business and revenue growth.
1) Check and approve TSR/LSR reports prepared by associates.
2) Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with required standards.
3) Monitor timely delivery of reports within the expected TAT.
4) Guide, advise, monitor, and manage the team.
5) Allocate work effectively to ensure maximum team productivity.
6) Resolve operational and legal issues to maintain smooth workflow.
7) Resolve client queries through email, WhatsApp, and phone calls.
8) Ensure quick, clear, and effective communication.
9) Build strong client relationships and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
10) Deliver efficient legal services to encourage clients to allocate maximum files to the firm.
11) Ensure timely billing and collections.
12) Coordinate with partners on new business development, increasing the share of files from existing clients, expansion into new business areas, and branch network growth.
1) 3–5 years of experience in the Mortgage, Lending, or Banking/BFSI sector.
2) Law firm experience is required for the leadership role.
3) A combination of law firm and bank/NBFC experience is preferred.
4) Candidates should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, LLB, LLM, or equivalent.
5) Candidates from Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Thane will be preferred.
6) Candidates from other parts of Maharashtra may also apply if willing to relocate to Mumbai.
7) Candidates with relevant banking litigation experience may also apply for Associate positions at the Vashi, Thane, and Kandivali locations.
